Admissions: Future Students
Military & Veteran Students
Humphreys is a private nonprofit school with a focus on our students. Here, you will not be lost with crowded classes. Students get the help and guidance they need without feeling intimidated and overwhelmed. If you have difficulty with a particular class, there is help. There is always help- for free. We are all about personalized attention.
Humphreys University is approved under federal law for the training of veterans. Veterans whose entitlement under one act has expired may still be eligible for benefits. Veteran’s benefits may also be available to survivors and dependents, under certain circumstances. More information can be obtained from the Veterans Administration or from the VA Certifying Official in our Registrar’s Office.
Supporting Military & Veteran Students
Transfer Credit
We will evaluate all previous education and training to find transfer credit for subjects related to your degree curriculum to help shorten the duration of your program.
Priority Enrollment
Military veterans receive earliest priority during the first week of open enrollment at Humphreys University.
Military Leniency
We understand that some things are beyond your control, this is why we waive tuition fees for any service member or reservists who must leave the university temporarily or need to suspend their studies due to military duty.
All veteran students that completely withdraw for the quarter are subject to a pro rata tuition refund scale. Students are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Students who withdraw past 60% of the quarter are not entitled to a tuition refund. Humphreys University will return unearned tuition assistance funds up to 60% of the quarter on a pro rata basis. Funds will be returned directly to the veterans administration from which the funds were provided and not to the student. Humphreys University will work with the student to identify solutions that will not result in a student debt for the returned funds.
College Financing Plan
Voluntarily adopting Executive Order 13607, we promise to provide a College Financing Plan that describes the educational costs and financial aid available to help you understand your options.
